Pre-Super Bowl futures props

Heading into the final quarter of the NFL season, the race to win both conference titles was still wide open, with no dominant teams. If you think back to the last couple seasons, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers came from the wild card and got hot late in the year to win the title. Last year, it was the Cincinnati Bengals that stunned the world to win the AFC.

While the main teams have been the same for the last five years or so, there will be some different squads in this year, and the top of the NFC in particular could see all four NFC East teams get in the playoffs as well as the Vikings.

In the AFC, you have the Chiefs, Bills, and Ravens, who have been in the mix for a while, but you will also see the Dolphins, and of course, those Bengals could be primed for another run.

Of all the prop bets, these could offer you some of the best value. Here are some good ones to look at ahead of the playoffs:

Philadelphia Eagles to win NFC, +220, and Super Bowl, +600: if you think about what just happened in the fall, with the Phillies and Union both making the finals of their respective sports, the Eagles might be a good value play to win the NFC. But both teams then lost, so maybe an AFC team might be better?

Kansas City Chiefs to win AFC, +220, and Super Bowl, +425: how about this AFC team, which has been in and around the Super Bowl mix for a half decade. Patrick Mahomes gives the Chiefs a chance to win any game.

San Francisco 49ers to win NFC +350, and Super Bowl, +1000: San Fran was one quarter away from the Super Bowl last January, and has the squad to go that step further this year. This might be the two best bets on the board.

Minnesota Vikings to win NFC, +6000, and Super Bowl, +1300: the Vikings just keep winning, and have Justin Jefferson, which means they might be able to emulate the run Cincinnati went on last season. Their performance against the two NFC East teams that will be near the top of the playoffs–Philadelphia and Dallas–might give some pause here. But the value is there.

Miami Dolphins to win AFC, +800, and Super Bowl, +1400: this is a very dangerous team, with offensive weapons all over the field. They have a little bit of a Bengals’ vibe to them right now.

Baltimore Ravens to win AFC, +650, and Super Bowl, +1400: Lamar Jackson has a point to prove, and a contract to earn. There might not be a more dangerous combination than that in the AFC. This team has gotten so much better with each week, and is going to be there late in the playoffs.

Super Bowl LVII exotic prop bets worth backing

Coin flip, -110 either way: this is really a 50/50 bet, and you can be up money before the game even begins.

Gatorade bath color, price varies: if you think the Eagles are going to win, go with green. Kansas City, red, and so on. But this could be a very educated wager, if you have a team in mind that you think is going to win.
